Wayne Marshall describes new Skrabl as 'amazing' after brilliant concert

The international organist Wayne Marshall gave a concert last night on the new Grand Organ of Our Lady of Victories, Kensington, London.

He described the instrument as amazing. and wonderful.

The conductor, organist and pianist is renowned for his creativity, which he amply demonstrated on his first encounter with the instrument.

The programme on the four-manual Skrabl instrument was well designed to illustrate the range of his gifts. It included the Toccata in C by Franz Schmidt, the Introduction, Passacaglia and Fugue by Healey Willan and two improvisations, all played with brilliance.
