Planning, construction and assembly of our pipe organs is completed in our workshop in Slovenia before we ship the instruments to their destination. Until 1992, we drew blueprints by hand, but since then we have used Auto-CAD and other organ-building software.
​When a new project begins, our experienced team carefully assesses the location and takes all the essential measurements. Close attention is paid to the acoustics of the particular building as this will influence the layout of the instrument. During this assessment, we also identify how the windchests and pipes will be arranged.
We design the majority of front displays – the prospect – ourselves, although we frequently collaborate with architects. An idea of the quality and thoroughness of our working methods can be seen in the pictures below.
